About the Event
Join us for an enlightening discussion on overcoming the stress of caregiving with Dr. Catherine Counard, MPH, medical advisor in preventive medicine at the Illinois Department of Public Health. She will offer tips on discussing caregiver stress and the importance of initiating compassionate conversations about well-being and support. Key topics include:
recognizing signs of caregiver stress
addressing reluctance to seek help
providing caregivers with resources in an empathetic and empowering manner
This conversation will run for 30 minutes, and we encourage attendees to share their questions and comments in the Facebook and/or YouTube feed. We look forward to having you join us!
