Care Connection Webinar: Lewy What? What is Lewy body dementia and how do you, healthcare professionals and caregivers, deal with it?

Norma Loeb, founder and executive director of the Lewy Body Dementia Resource Center (LBDRC), will discuss Lewy body dementia symptoms, diagnosis and support.

Mary Lou Falcone, classic music publicist and former care partner, will share her first-hand point of view on what it’s like to be the caregiver for a loved one with LBD.

Guest speakers:

Norma Loeb is founder and Executive Director of the Lewy Body Dementia Resource Center (LBDRC). Loeb’s knowledge and experience with Lewy body dementia (LBD) began with the personal care of her mother, Lillian, who had LBD for many years. Lil is the inspiration behind the founding of LBDRC. Norma has been facilitating the only New York Metro area LBD caregivers support groups since 2008. She also leads a national group for people living with LBD.

Mary Lou Falcone is an internationally known classical music publicist. Her late husband, the illustrator Nicky Zann who died from LBD in 2020, was the catalyst for her first book: I Didn’t See It Coming: Scenes of Love, Loss, and Lewy Body Dementia.
